Marty made the cut in each of the last three Elite events. He finished 20th at Georgia's Clarks Hill Lake, 38th at Kentucky Lake, and 26th at Oklahoma's Fort Gibson Lake. He is pictured below with the 5 1/2 pound smallmouth he weighed on day two at Kentucky Lake, and above with his Fort Gibson day three catch weighing 15 pounds 14 ounces. Marty ultimately finished the AOY race in 43rd place missing the Classic qualification by 6 spots.
